New UK Reunion events added this February with dates in England, Scotland and Wales.

Summer sensations The TRICKS and all the lovely LIVE LOUNGE crew will be joined by some VERY SPECIAL familiar faces for 3 UK Reunion events to be held in ABERDEEN , MANCHESTER AND CARDIFF in addition to the Christmas party event being held in DERBY Dec 17th.

The Events will take place in FEB to wet the appetite for another massive Ayia Napa summer ahead which this year played host to The Enemy , The Charlatans, Chase and Status along with a host of other top acts for NAPA LIVE and is a great chance to meet up with folk we met this summer from all over the Uk.

The TRICKS (resident band summer 2011) will play live at all the events and will be joined along the way by some Live Lounge legends from this summer.

Bez HAPPY MONDAYS will be along for the ride in Scotland and Phil Etheridge of the TWANG will be on the decks in Manchester.

Beatbox legend and Live Lounge favourite PETEBOX will also perform live at the ABERDEEN and MANCHESTER shows.

The final reunion will be in Wales at the one and only LIVE LOUNGE in Cardiff one of the UK’s favourite party towns and a bona fide contender to the madness of Ayia Napa. Great venue , great city and a familiar crowd the TRICKS will of course be in attendance.

Other acts to perform at the events will include Ste brannan of ECHO AND THE BUNNYMENS new band SHOW ME STEREO (manchester ) and exciting new Manchester prospects MNQ22 (Manchester / Aberdeen ) and BOOYA dj set (Aberdeen).

NAPA LIVE 2011 CLOSING PARTY and last event of the summer will be held at the LIVE LOUNGE VENUE on WEDS AUG 31ST.
The party will be attended by indie legend and party animal BEZ HAPPY MONDAYS and will include LIVE performance from this years brilliant resident band The TRICKS , DJ SET from CHRIS T. (INDIESCRECTION) / BEZ at CLUB RETRO and AFTERSHOW in secret location to be revealed on the night.

This year the legendary venue has seen the ENEMY , The TWANG , TWISTED WHEEL among others through its doors to say hello and we have seen some amazing live performances from SOUND OF GUNS , The PETEBOX and of course The TRICKS.

Live Lounge Venue gets ready for opening party April 30th

So summer is here and it promises to be the biggest and best one ever for all you indie fans.
The Live Lounge venue is in its third year now and we will again have the most amazing resident bands playing all your favourite songs kicking off with a bang on April 30th for the Live Lounge Venues opening party.

We of course will again have very special nights throughout the summer involving some of the biggest names visiting our intimate venue.
Last year saw KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES play a special show along with john Mclure (REVEREND AND THE MAKERS ) and Phil Etheridge (the TWANG) among others visited the venue.
This Summer the venue will again play host to some very special gigs as part of NAPA LIVE.
COURTEENERS, CHARLATANS, TWISTED WHEEL, THE TWANG are just some of the bands visiting the island this summer.

So we are now closed for the winter after a amazing summer thanks to everyone who made it such a great year.The bands the crowds and the brilliant Live lounge crew. We will be back 30th of April for all indie lovers out there. We will be back with more great bands, music and good times.

This year of course saw us play host to Napa live for the first time, Kids in Glass Houses, John Mclure Reverend and the Makers and others took to the Live Lounge stage for special performances this summer and The Twang among others visited the bar to get involved. Line up for

Napa Live is a music based event brand putting on a series of gigs, club nights and parties in the resort of Ayia Napa Cyprus.
2011 sees the line up bigger, better and into a new venue the 1200 capacity Napa Forum for its major headline acts.

The Live Lounge Venue with its 200 capacity will still host events throughout the week inc VERY SPECIAL GUESTS and will this year be completely free admission as the spiritual home of the event.
